The importance of clean can’t be overstated.
Contaminates are always accumulating in petrochemical
systems—and in order to prevent the toxic and
flammable conditions that can lead to accidents, they
must be completely removed. But cleaning means
shut-downs, and shut-downs take time; and the longer
the shut-down, the lesser the profits.
When the stakes are this high, it’s crucial to find a
solution to put you back in production as soon as
possible. In the past, refiners looked to a variety of
answers, from open waste water systems, to nitrogen
purges, to caustic detergents. Still, shut-downs
dragged on. The cleaning wasn’t thorough. The
environment suffered, and hazards remained.
